Ian Goldwasser, professionally known as GOLDWRKS is a tattooer and artist based in St. Petersburg, Florida. His work centers around symbolic blackwork imagery that draws from mythology, symbolism, and historical illustration. Through rich black and simplified forms, he creates tattoos that explore balance, transformation, and the quiet relationships between images.

 

Much of his work is rooted in the idea of personal mythology — the way people attach meaning to symbols and carry those meanings with them. Each tattoo becomes part of that language, acting as both an individual mark and a piece of a larger story.
